Según informó ABC de España, el video grabado en el 2013, fue publicado este martes por la ONG Internacional Animal Rescue, para dejar en evidencia la lamentable situación de los animales que sufren y mueren por la destrucción de la selva de Indonesia, donde la tala de árboles tiene como objetivo fundamental la producción de aceite de palma.
El animal al tratar de defender su hogar, fue golpeado por la máquina. Cayó al suelo y fue corriendo a refugiarse en un lugar seguro.
Las imágenes fueron grabadas en 2013 en la isla de Borneo (dividida administrativamente entre Brunéi, Malasia e Indonesia). Por su parte, la ONG finalmente logró encontrar y salvar al orangután.
